Finding the diamond within
Angela Yeung is an award-winning jewellery designer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and mountaineer. As the founder of Impilo Collection, Impilo Collection Foundation, and Impilo Global Events, Angela seamlessly bridges creativity, purpose, and impact.
In May 2025, she became the second South African woman in 26 years to summit Mount Everest from the North Side, inspiring the collection of 8,849 bras — one for every metre of Everest — as part of her #EmpowerHer: Bras for Humanity campaign, a bold movement raising awareness of gender-based violence and dignity restoration for survivors.
Angela’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and vision — from jewellery designer to Everest summiteer, from creating timeless luxury pieces to shaping social impact movements that aim to uplift one million lives by 2035.
Her story is nothing short of powerful. Angela speaks with incredible courage, heart, and authenticity, and her advocacy for women affected by gender-based violence and for young women in need is truly inspiring. Her testimony moved every person in the room, and her message resonated long after the event ended.
