In 2020, amid the global pandemic, Angela established the Impilo Collection Foundation to channel her passion for community upliftment into meaningful action. The foundation drives three empowerment pillars:

Empower Campaign

The Empower Campaign is our commitment to uplifting individuals from every sector of society, empowering them to unlock their fullest potential. Through the synergy of EmpowerHer, EmpowerHim, and EmpowerThem, we dismantle barriers and foster positive transformation in our communities. By prioritising education, mentorship, and community involvement, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive society.

EmpowerHer

Supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the
Bras for Humanity campaign — aiming to collect 8,849 bras,
symbolising each metre climbed to reach the top of Everest.

Creating mentorship and educational opportunities for young boys and men to break cycles of inequality.

Uplifting entire communities through literacy, book donations, and reading programmes.

National Travelling Art Exhibition 2025

Angela is curating a Guinness World Record-breaking installation — the largest national still-
life art exhibition — displaying 8,849 bras across all nine provinces of South Africa. The exhibition sparks dialogue, awareness, and change on gender-based violence while celebrating solidarity, dignity, and empowerment.
